14th Mother and Child Health Awareness Programme




A camp was organised in Kathai village on 31/07/19 at 11: am, Around 42 females with adolescent girls and one anganwadi worker attended the camp. Following points were discussed:

1. How fetal growth is affected if mother is malnourished?
2. Why exclusive breastfeeding is important?
3. Why animal milk or bottle feeding is harmful?
4. Importance of complementary feeding and prevention of iron deficiency anemia etc.

Posters were used for better communication, Hand hygiene technique was demonstrated. We got positive feedback at the end of the camp.
